The Star fleet includes more than 60-70 ships, totaling approx. 3 million deadweight tons. Our vision is to be a world class industrial shipping company and the preferred carrier in our chosen business segments.

Open hatch division

With about 40 specialized Open Hatch vessels, Star has a unique position in the transportation of forestry products worldwide.

Conventional bulk carrier

Star operates a modern fleet of about 20 geared Handymax bulk carriers.

Container division

Star operates one container service; North Europe - US East Coast

Terminals

Star has long term agreements with terminals in all our major ports and owns a forestry products terminal in Squamish, British Columbia.
